Why is this more expensive than the puzzles on Amazon?
Most $25 kits are a thin cat-shaped frame with 12 pens, and the puzzle has to be squeezed into the frame once it is done, which is the number one complaint in their reviews. Is it real wood?
Yes. The puzzle is cut from 3 mm basswood plywood with a laser, so the edges are smooth and the pieces click together. The frame is wood too. No cardboard anywhere.

How long does it take?
Building the puzzle takes about an hour. Coloring takes one long evening or three short ones, depending on how much you take your time. No timer, no rules.
Do the markers bleed on the wood?
No. The puzzle has a sealed printed surface, and the dual-tip acrylic markers are opaque and dry in minutes. Don't linger on one spot and you get clean, flat color.
How do I get the finished puzzle into the frame?
You don't. You build it inside the frame from the start, so it is finished the moment the last piece clicks in. If you ever want to move it, the adhesive dots fix it permanently.
Is it suitable for kids?
The kit is designed for adults and teens, but children from about 7 can build and color along with an adult. The markers are water-based and wash off hands.
